Raman Frey is a Partner at AH Global. For the last eighteen years, Raman has built communities, bringing people together around meaningful conversations about art, technology, religion, politics and philosophy. He has started businesses and served on the boards of a variety of organizations. As an event producer, public speaker, moderator and interviewer, Raman thrives off improvisation. The American ideal of civil discourse, amongst people with contrasting points of view, is how he believes real progress begins.

Raman is the founder of Good People Dinners, a Bay Area community focused on substantive discussions, usually over food and drink. These dinners, corporate salons, overnights and retreats bring together professional chefs and speakers on a wide range of topics. GP Dinners has operated for 6 years, producing nearly 200 events and counting.

Raman was a founding partner of The Bureau, a benefit corporation, advisory and startup accelerator operating at the intersection of blockchain technologies and ESG (environmental, social and governance) impact. The Bureau is currently developing and will soon deploy Dispatch, an enterprise ready blockchain protocol, reverse compatible with Ethereum.

He currently serves as an active advisor to RootProject, a new crowdfunding platform that applies blockchain and a reputation economy to the needs of non-profits. RootProject is designed to free these organizations from the time consuming demands of traditional fundraising.

His writing has appeared in the Harvard Business Review and he often posts essays and interviews to Medium. On a recent episode of What Comes Now, Raman discussed blockchain, tribalism, identity and community building with host Rosie von Lila.

Raman is a avid traveler, mountaineer and scuba diver, an amateur chef who hosts dinners for friends at his home as often as he can.
